A native of Dawson Creek, B.C., Kim wrote and sang two of the band's biggest hits, "Oh My Lady" and "Minstrel Gypsy." In 1994, he was honoured with SOCAN 'SONGWRITER HALL OF FAME AWARDS' for both songs. Kim sang many of the Stampeders' biggest hits, including "Carry Me" and "Wild Eyes". Outside of his occasional, well-timed stage antics, Kim enjoys song-writing, a good book, his privacy, acting, working on his 'little' house in the country and spending time with his family - wife, Diana and children, Hunter, Allison and Jessica -- and his many relatives in and around the Calgary area. |
